I\'m thrilled that you\'ve chosen to embark on the next stage of your journey towards becoming the best version of yourself. I firmly believe that everyone has a unique story, and while some may have faced more challenging beginnings than others, it\'s not about how it began, but the proactive steps you take to shape a brighter future. As individuals, we possess the power to make the necessary changes to break generational cycles and navigate through past and present traumas. As a therapist, my role is to let you take the lead and serve as a guide, helping you unlock and acquire the tools essential to navigate this journey we call life.
Biography
I take great satisfaction in working with a diverse range of individuals and groups, including Black/People of Color, Children/Adolescents, Youth in Child Welfare Services, Adults, and the LGBTQIA+ community. My focus extends to those grappling with Depression, Anxiety, Low Self-Esteem, PTSD, Intimate Partner Violence (IPV), Sexual Abuse/Violence, Child Abuse, Abandonment, Substance Abuse, and Stress stemming from work, family, and life-related issues. I eagerly anticipate collaborating with Individuals, Relationships/Couples, and Families.
Experience
My therapeutic approach encompasses Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family System Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care. Together, we will work towards your personal growth and well-being using these diverse therapeutic methods.
Education
A little bit about me: I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication from California State University Dominguez Hills. Currently, I have recently graduated with my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy (MFT) and Professional Clinical Counseling (PCC) from National University. My job brings me fulfillment as I work with current and former Foster Youth.
