Biography
I’m Nia Meadors, a compassionate therapist dedicated to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and find healing, growth, and resilience. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the emotional impact of societal oppression. My work often supports women and people of color seeking to reclaim their sense of self and strength in the face of adversity. As a Black woman, I bring a deep understanding of how cultural and systemic challenges shape our emotional experiences. This perspective allows me to create a safe space where you can process and heal without judgment or fear of misunderstanding.
Experience
With expertise in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Narrative Therapy, I tailor my approach to each individual’s unique needs and goals. My mission is to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel heard, valued, and understood.
