Biography
BWPC is unapologetically dedicated to the Black community in California's Central Valley with the goal of improving Black Maternal Health outcomes.
Experience
Since 2019, we serve the community in Fresno and beyond! We have Community Health Workers, Doulas, a Midwife, breastfeeding professionals, and maternal health experts on our team! Our mission is to be a catalyst to improve well-being and prosperity in the Black community with sustained efforts to improve Black Maternal and Child Health outcomes, and effectively unite and elevate the Black voice, and build sustainable infrastructure to strengthen Black capacity.
Education
Our team members gained skills through completing BA and MA programs at formal institutions, informal trainings like the B.L.A.C.K. course, internal training, lived-experience, and research.
